Members of Kuficpedia received a warm welcome from Qatar artists and researchers. We presented five workshops on Kufic Calligraphy, which were conducted by S M Vahid M Jazayeri in Katara, Doha.
- 17 and 18 Jan: Society of Fine Arts – these workshops were about how to read and write Kufic script
- 19, 20, and 21 Jan: Visual Art Section, Katara, Doha. Time: 10.00–13.00 – these workshops were about how to read and write Kufic script on manuscripts and ceramics, with an additional demonstration of how to produce a calligraphic Kufic painting.
